A 3d model of a vacuum pump built in Blender.

Most of the models in the Airtrack and Rutherford experiments were built with Sketchup.

The Lunar Rover and the Landing module for Apollo 15 were built using 3DS Max.

There’s Twin Ackermann steering, working suspension and instruments.  The terrain was modelled from the Apollo contour map used on the mission and panoramic photos from the mission were used for the sky box.

A very early model of a refracting telescope built using Milkshape.

A model of a micrometer screw gauge built using Maya.

The Tektronix oscilloscope with working menu system and controls was an exercise in making a virtual electronic instrument as much like the real thing as possible.  Notice the use of bump mapping to create the look of a Dymo label on the coil stand.
